Here I store all hardware hobby projects which doesn't fit on my real home page.

At the moment these are:

• A RAM card for the Korg S3 Rhythm Workstation The Korg S3 is a '80s machine, one of the few with SMPTE
• A SCMS killer circuit for the Sony DTC-790 DAT This is an adaptation of an existing circuit designed for older Sonys. It kills the SCMS on all incoming digital audio.
• A coaxial output for the Sony DTC-790 DAT Something Sony forgot to add. But it is easy to add to the DTC-790. The board for the SCMS killer has the electronics for this modification.
• Information on the Tascam DA-P1 portable DAT This is a modification to Matthew Heydman's DA-P1 Info Page. I tried to contact him about these modifications, but he seems to be unreachable. So I'll keep the mods here for the time being.
• Fostex 280. This allows you to calibrate the Fostex 280 multitrack recorder for a specific brand and type of tape. Also some brief control description.
• Roland MT-32 some info and software for the Roland MT-32.
• Lexicon LXP-5 some info for the Lexicon LXP-5.

Other computer oriented pages:

• Information on the Elrad Take Five digital audio card. This is the article that appeared in the August 1994 Elrad magazine. It describes an early S/P-DIF optical interface to the PC's ISA bus. Some parts are hard to find, and the board isn't available anymore.
• Information on the Elrad PCIREC digital audio card A more modern S/P-DIF card from Elrad (March, April, May 1997) This PCIrec card is the forerunner of quite some commercial cards (Sek'd, RME).
